i had been trying to post this post two days ago but the system error as i tried to upload photos, so i gave up@@
The first stop of footsteps around part 3 is Taiping zoo. This wad third time i visited this zoo but its still amaze me.
The zoo opens at 830 and we reached there at around 840, so we were the first visitor i guess. To visit zoo early in the morning is a good idea as most of the animal are awake for feeding time. So, we could see the animal are very active.
The most unforgettable part for this visit were we heard the lion roars! rawrrrrrr this is really really amazing, i could feel the zoo is actually vibrate like earthquake is coming. i had never heard lion roaring before this. There are a lots of other animals such as hippopotamus, giraffe, rhinoceros, and etc. Others are just fine because i meet them in the same place before.
If you are animal lover like the love-b, taiping is highly recommended, it has many animals that you may like to see. Its the oldest zoo in malaysia. It was established before Malaysia gt its independent. Besides that, the animals are present to u in a very natural way such as a few type of any in a confined place which formed a harmony ecosystem. The entrance ticket is cheap, rm12 for adult. If you have time, drop by taiping lakegarden which is just next to the zoo. The greeny scenes gives ur brain a short break n refreshing ur mind^^ btw, we jz passed by that cuz we were in a rush.
Second stop: Penang
Penang is a well developed town, my last visit to this land was about 5years ago n its was a brief one. im hoping to explore this place more one day n i did it with the love-b.
We were both excited once we passed through the penang bridge tol which cost us rm8. We headed to air itam market to hunt for our lunch-penang laksa. This is recommended by my local fren, it is very famous, we can see a lot of tourists there. That is nt hard to find, you it is jz somewhere around the corner of the market junction. The taste is fine for me but actually i expected more=)
Then, we "see" the famous temple - keklosi of penang. When i say we see means we really see only la, from the air itam market. We didn't pay a visit to that because it takes long time to going all the way up jz to take some photos as both of us are Christian we dont baibai^^We dis walk around down there to buy some souvenirs.
Then, we went to penang hill which also known as bukit bendera. we took the train provided, its rm8 for student price. if u hv height phobia, then i thk u hv to jz forget ab that because the train is going up straight to a few thousand feets. The weather there was just for an escape from the melting hot afternoon^^ You can view the whole penang from there.
We went to the famous wall painting as well. there are distributed in a few road easily spotted if you are walking in that town area. We found some n we were both so excited.
Afterthat, we came to the cort forwallies which build nest to the esplanade. Its a good one, u get to expose to the old building by the British, Francis light. Then, we had some couple talk in that windy afternoon. sweeeeet. ^^
Then, we end our trip with dinner at Northam Beach Cafe. The cafe is beside the shore. We had fried oyster, penang chaquetiaw, pork satay with the beautiful scene. Quite a nice one with reasonable price. Last, we left penang, the penang bridge gave us a sunset farewell^^ how lovely.
